The fight against the Covid-19 epidemic requires the entire political and social system to participate.

On the afternoon of March 11, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated with the Ministry of Health to organize a national online conference to deploy tasks to strengthen prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. Comrade Tran Thanh Man - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front chaired the conference.

Thanks to the sharing of the whole society, the solidarity and cooperation of the team of doctors, nurses, cadres, civil servants, officers, soldiers, police and the determination to defeat the epidemic of the entire people, the first phase of the fight against the epidemic was successful. At this time, Vietnam has entered the second phase of the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic. Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Truong Thi Ngoc Anh stated at the conference: This phase is more difficult and arduous. More than ever, we need the solidarity and joint efforts of each individual, business and the whole society to stand side by side with the Government and functional agencies to prevent and fight the epidemic.

Speaking at the online conference, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long - Permanent Deputy Minister of Health shared: The Covid-19 epidemic is developing in a rather complicated direction with a wider area of ​​infection and a high rate of transmission. This time requires us to change our prevention and control methods. First of all, we need to have a very calm mindset, fight the epidemic like fighting the enemy; mobilize the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people to participate.

The Permanent Deputy Minister of Health expressed his hope that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations will continue to actively participate in, do a good job of propaganda and mobilization so that people can properly implement the instructions of specialized agencies; so that each person is a "soldier" in the fight to prevent diseases for themselves and the community, and actively report suspected cases to the authorities.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Party Central Committee Tran Thanh Man - Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front thoroughly grasped the contents of implementing Covid-19 prevention and control in the Fatherland Front system in the coming time. Accordingly: The "war" against Covid-19 is requiring the participation of the entire political and social system, the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations need to "play their roles and know their lessons" to ensure good performance of professional tasks in 2020 and the following years; actively advise Party committees at all levels, coordinate well with the government to effectively implement Covid-19 prevention and control; build a strong political system; solid national defense and security; promote production and business development.

In the context of the country's difficulties, the Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations need to promote the practice of thrift and combat waste; promote the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; trust in the leadership of the Party and State, stay alert to information, step up propaganda, mobilize people to actively prevent and fight the epidemic, and complete medical declarations as soon as possible.
