(Baonghean.vn) - On March 10, the People's Committee of Ky Son border district, Nghe An issued a notice on the temporary suspension of Nam Can border market.

Faced with new developments of the acute respiratory infection caused by the new strain of Corona virus (Covid-19); implementing the direction of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in Official Dispatch No. 953/CV-BCĐ dated February 28, 2020, the leaders of Ky Son district, Nghe An province (Vietnam) and Noong Het district, Xieng Khouang province (Laos) agreed to temporarily suspend trading activities at Nam Can border market starting from the market session on Sunday (March 15, 2020) to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic from entering the area, ensuring safety for the people.
