Technical Director Nguyen Duc Thang pointed out SLNA's advantages before the match against B. Binh Duong.
(Baonghean.vn) – This afternoon, March 14, SLNA will return to Vinh Stadium to welcome B. Binh Duong in the second round of V.League 2020. This is a match in which SLNA hopes the Nghe An team will have favorable results after an unsuccessful opening match.
Regarding the squad, SLNA will not have the services of Pham Xuan Manh and Bui Dinh Chau because these two players are injured, however SLNA still has a great chance of winning against B. Binh Duong with the return of Phan Van Duc.
Before the match, SLNA Club Technical Director Nguyen Duc Thang said: “Phan Van Duc is a player who has affirmed his ability in the Vietnam U23 team as well as the national team. With his return, SLNA has a diverse playing style, which can create many dangers for the opponent.”
In the opening match against Saigon, Phan Van Duc, although only entering the field in the second half, when he was in the SLNA squad, he created 2 dangerous opportunities. One of them was a rather regrettable missed opportunity witnessed by Coach Park Hang-seo – Head Coach of the Vietnam National Team.

Besides, the person who led SLNA for 2 years affirmed: “In SLNA, there is consensus, we were all born and raised in Nghe An, from the players to the SLNA coaching staff have been together for a long time, everyone understands each other. I think that is an advantage for the team when meeting B. Binh Duong or any opponent”.
In SLNA's current squad, except for 3 foreign players, 100% of the players were born in Nghe An and the only case not grown up from SLNA's academy is goalkeeper Nguyen Van Hoang, the player expected to replace Nguyen Manh.

“After the departure of some key players, the whole team as well as the sponsor and leaders of SLNA Club determined that this year's goal is to try one match at a time. The whole team has gained a certain excitement and confidence when entering V.League 2020,” said coach Duc Thang.
Currently, SLNA has only 1 point with 1 goalless draw. If they get 3 points, coach Ngo Quang Truong and his team will get 4 points and significantly improve their 7th place on the V.League 2020 rankings.
