The male doctor filmed a girl bathing and then demanded sex, but the victim refused. He then turned to blackmail, and after receiving 10 million VND, he was caught red-handed by the police.
On the evening of March 13, the Can Tho City Police Department arrested Phan Minh Hieu (28 years old, residing in Hoa My commune, Phung Hiep district, Hau Giang province) for using a sensitive clip to blackmail a woman.
Hieu is a doctor at a hospital in Can Tho city.

Hieu was arrested at a coffee shop on Tran Van Hoai Street (Xuan Khanh Ward, Ninh Kieu District), at around 6:30 p.m. the same day.
Initial information, Hieu and Ms. V. lived in the same boarding house. Hieu secretly used his phone to record V. while she was taking a shower. After that, Hieu wrote his phone number on a piece of paper, threw it into the room, and asked Ms. V. to connect to Zalo with him.
When Ms. V. connected to Zalo, Hieu sent her clips and pictures and asked her to sleep with him for one night before deleting the pictures from her phone.
Ms. V. did not accept. After that, Hieu continued to put pressure on her, asking Ms. V. to meet Hieu at Lang Bao coffee shop to redeem her for 10 million VND.

When Hieu appeared to receive 10 million VND, he was caught red-handed by Can Tho City Police Criminal Investigation Department.
Currently, the police are taking statements from Hieu and related people to investigate and clarify.
