Quy Nhon City Police (Binh Dinh) today issued an emergency arrest warrant for Ms. Tieu Thi Tuyet Suong (46 years old, residing in Phuoc Hiep commune, Tuy Phuoc district) to investigate the act of "Fraudulent appropriation of property".

Searching the suspect's house, the police seized many empty medicine tubes filled with distilled water and antibiotics to fake vaccines to prevent diseases in children, cancer, stroke, and even Covid-19.

Subject: Tieu Thi Tuyet Suong

Suong used the fake vaccines to inject many people in Tuy Phuoc district and Quy Nhon city. After the incident was clarified, some people went to Quy Nhon City Police to report Ms. Suong's actions.

At the police station, Ms. Suong confessed that she had only finished 9th grade and had worked for a private clinic. She claimed to be a preventive health worker, giving children vaccines that did not cause fever, at half the price of the market, about 700,000 VND/shot.

Because they didn't have to wait long, the price was cheap, and they came to their homes to get the shots, this person recommended another person to get the shots. Suong took the blank of a real vaccination appointment form, photocopied it into fake forms, and gave them to the victims after each injection to have documents to prove it. In particular, Suong confessed to injecting distilled water mixed with antibiotics, claiming it was a vaccine, into nearly 30 cases.

The case is being further investigated by Quy Nhon City Police.
