Touching letter from a mother from France to thank Vietnamese doctors

Previously, on February 13, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital received an emergency case of a foreign patient transferred from Ninh Binh Provincial General Hospital.
The male patient is a 30-year-old French chef named G.Julian - traveling to Vietnam with a passion for culinary exploration, unfortunately had an accident, was hospitalized in critical condition, diagnosed with multiple injuries with organ damage in the chest, abdomen, pelvic fracture, spinal injury due to a motorbike accident, high risk of even death if not intervened promptly.
That same night, the patient was operated on by a surgical team consisting of Dr. Tran Dat - Doctor of Neurosurgery Department 1 and colleagues.
In addition to professional treatment, the hospital also supported the patient's family to contact the Tam Diep City Police Department, Ninh Binh Province - where the patient had an accident - to recover property including: 01 motorbike and 5,000,000 VND in cash as well as the patient's personal documents.
The treatment phase for patient G. Julian was also the time of the outbreak of the new strain of Corona virus (also known as SARS-Cov-2). At that time, the patient's lung X-ray image was diagnosed with damage, the hospital prepared an isolation room as well as necessary measures to coordinate treatment. However, fortunately, the lung damage was the result of serious injuries when the patient had an accident.

On February 23, patient G. Julian once again made the hospital's medical staff worried when he had difficulty breathing and had to return to the Intensive Care Unit for treatment. With modern equipment, dedication to patient care, and a high sense of responsibility from the medical staff of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, the patient was saved.
In addition, during the treatment at the hospital, the patient's visa expired. The International Cooperation Department of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, with the task of supporting foreign patients, enthusiastically supported the patient's visa extension procedures and helped the patient's family overcome language barriers, and encouraged the patient's family during the treatment process.
On the afternoon of March 5, the patient was discharged from the hospital and returned to France in stable condition.
Touched by the care and support of the medical team and staff of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, the patient's mother, on behalf of the family, sent a thank you letter to the hospital.
The letter reads:“…I would like to thank the doctors and medical staff of the Intensive Care Unit, the Gastroenterology Emergency Department, and the International Cooperation Department for the care and concern they have given to our son… Your care and help have been very effective and thank you for everything."
