The Investigation Police Agency (IPA) of Nong Son District Police has just transferred the case of gang rape of a young woman that occurred in the area to the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Nam Province Police for further investigation and handling according to its authority.
Initial information, on March 20, the Investigation Police Agency of Nong Son District Police received a report from Mr. Nguyen Van Kh. (born in 1979, residing in Que Trung Commune, Nong Son District) stating that on the evening of March 19, his daughter Ng.Th.Kh.L. (born in 2005) was raped by 4 subjects.
Upon receiving the report, the Investigation Police Agency of Nong Son District Police conducted verification and determined that at around 7:00 p.m. on March 19, L. and his friend Ng.Th.Tr. (born in 2004, residing in the same locality) went to Trung Phuoc market to get a hair tie for Tr.
Here, the two met Pham Phu Quoc (born in 2005), Luong Ky Duong (born in 2006), Tran Hoang Nhan (born in 2005), Phan Quoc Toan (born in 2006). After getting the hair ties, L. and Tr. went home to park their motorbikes and walked down to the Bo Doi bridge (Trung Ha village, Que Trung commune) where they met Duong, Quoc, Nhan, and Toan coming on 3 motorbikes.

This group invited L. and Tr. to go for a walk. Agreeing, L. got in Toan's car, Tr. went with Duong and Quoc, and Nhan went in another car. The group headed towards Son Vien commune, Nong Son district. When they reached a deserted concrete road in Phuoc Binh village, Son Vien commune, they stopped the car to talk.
L. sat talking with Toan, Quoc, and Nhan while Duong and Tr. walked about 50 meters away to sit and talk. While they were sitting and talking, Toan grabbed L.'s hand and threw L. onto the street. L. kicked Toan away and ran away.
Toan, Quoc, and Nhan chased after L., held her back, and dragged her to the grass by the side of the road. All three took off all of L.'s clothes and then took turns raping her.
While Nhan was raping L., Duong came over. When L. tried to call Tr., Duong used his hand to cover L.'s mouth. When Tr. turned back to look for L., Nhan used his hand to cover L.'s mouth to prevent L. from screaming.
Then there was a flashlight, afraid of being discovered, Toan drove L. and Tr. home. On the morning of March 20, L. told her parents about the incident, then the family took L. to the Nong Son District Police to report.
