(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Department of Health requested medical centers to review and make a list of people who have been to Bach Mai Hospital in the past 14 days.

Recently, the Ministry of Health has determined that Bach Mai Hospital has become an "epidemic hotbed", with cross-infection with 3 confirmed Covid-19 cases and a number of other cases undergoing a second test, including patients, relatives and medical staff.

With the risks from this new "epidemic", on the morning of March 26, Nghe An Department of Health issued Document No. 858/SYT-NVY on monitoring and supervising medical prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the province. The main content of the document is solutions to respond to the "epidemic" at Bach Mai Hospital.

The Department of Health assigned the Medical Centers of districts, cities and towns to urgently direct medical stations to make a list of elderly people in the area with chronic diseases and underlying diseases to conduct health monitoring and medical monitoring; deploy screening, make a list and immediately notify people who have been to Bach Mai Hospital in the past 14 days to self-isolate at home and monitor their health, promptly notify local authorities and medical agencies when there are signs of suspected illness (dry cough, fever, difficulty breathing...); deploy environmental sanitation, spray disinfectants at the living and working places of the above-mentioned people.

Medical examination and treatment facilities review medical staff under their management who are being sent to study at Bach Mai Hospital and notify them to stay in Hanoi.

In case you have to return to Nghe An, you must report to the local authorities and self-isolate and monitor your health at home. You are not allowed to go to work without permission.
