Prince Charles, 71, tested positive for nCoV and has mild symptoms.

Clarence House (representing the British Prince) today issued a statement saying that Mr. Charles "remains in good health despite having mild symptoms and has been working from home over the past few days as normal."

The Prince's wife, Camilla, has also "tested negative for Covid-19". The two are self-isolating at home in Scotland.

"It is not yet possible to determine who the Prince caught the virus from as he has attended a number of events in recent weeks," Clarence House said. An unnamed royal source said the Prince was tested on March 23, received the results on March 24 and is believed to have been infected after March 13.

Prince Charles last saw Queen Elizabeth, 93, on March 12. Buckingham Palace said she "remains in good health and is following all appropriate advice." The queen and Prince Philip, 98, left London for Windsor Castle in Berkshire on March 19.

Prince Charles hosted a WaterAid conference at Clarence House on March 10 to discuss the impact of climate change. The event was also attended by Prince Albert II of Monaco, 62, who last week became the first head of state to be infected with the coronavirus.

The UK has recorded more than 8,000 cases of Covid-19, more than 420 deaths and more than 130 recoveries. The UK has been on lockdown since March 23. People are only allowed to leave their homes to buy essentials, exercise once a day, get a health check or go to work if they are doing essential work. Schools, entertainment venues, gyms, places of worship and shops that do not sell essential goods must close. All social activities, including weddings, will be postponed. However, funerals will still be held.
