Nghe An province is surveying the possibility of opening 6 to 7 more centralized quarantine facilities.
(Baonghean.vn) - Following a field inspection, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long requested that relevant units continue to survey and establish 6 to 7 centralized quarantine points capable of accommodating up to 10,000 people.
On the afternoon of March 30th, a delegation from the Provincial People's Committee, led by Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected centralized quarantine areas and surveyed several locations ready to receive Vietnamese citizens returning from countries and epidemic regions within the province.
Accompanying the delegation was Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Commander of the Provincial Military Command.
As of 4 PM on March 30th, over 7,000 Vietnamese citizens and 2 foreigners have been quarantined in Nghe An province. Of these, the quarantine facilities are located in local isolation areas.Over 2,600 people were present, while the gathering points of the Provincial Military Command and the Military Commands of districts, towns, and cities had over 4,500 people.
