Nghe An quarantines people returning from Laos and Thailand through Cau Treo Border Gate overnight
(Baonghean.vn) - At 2:45 a.m. on March 31, Quy Hop district, Nghe An received and arranged 63 citizens returning from Laos and Thailand through Cau Treo International Border Gate (Ha Tinh) for centralized quarantine at Chau Ly Secondary School.
63 citizens in centralized quarantine in Quy Hop district, including 6 women and 3 children, had their health checked and body temperature measured by the authorities; made medical declarations, provided necessities, arranged adequate accommodation for all cases, and ensured food, accommodation, and living conditions for citizens in the centralized quarantine area.

The quarantine area in Quy Hop has 20 rooms, with a capacity of 180-200 people, with full conditions: electricity, water, blankets, mosquito nets, sanitary facilities; guaranteed food and accommodation. The district has also arranged 19 officers, doctors, nurses; military and militia to be on duty 24/7 to ensure health care conditions, food and living services for citizens and ensure security, order and social safety in the quarantine area.

Faced with the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control of Quy Hop district has deployed many epidemic prevention and control plans; requisitioned additional centralized quarantine points in the area.
At the same time, 21 communes and towns have made plans and proactively arranged human resources, vehicles, materials, and quarantine facilities to promptly support in case more citizens from other countries return in the near future./.
