Mr. Nguyen Xuan Huong, residing in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau, a citizen who is being quarantined in Tuong Duong, shared: "Since the day we arrived here, the local government leaders as well as the forces on duty have always taken care of our every meal and sleep. The soldiers, police as well as medical staff are always attentive and encouraging. There is no sign of discrimination against the citizens in quarantine.
To repay that affection, I personally stood up and called on citizens in the quarantine area to contribute money to support the Covid-19 epidemic prevention fund and buy souvenirs to give to the school. When I called, all citizens agreed to respond."
After a short time, citizens in the quarantine area have donated 16,840,000 VND. Of this total amount, 6,000,000 VND will be used to buy stone benches for the school, the rest will be contributed to the Covid-19 epidemic prevention fund of Tuong Duong district. Before that, citizens proactively discussed with the Quarantine Area Command Board to participate in weeding, cleaning flower beds, ornamental plants and taking care of the vegetable garden on campus.
