Tuan Hero and his accomplices kidnapped 4 people to demand 7 billion and were prosecuted.
A group of masked men who climbed over a wall to kidnap four people living in Can Tho to collect a debt of 7 billion VND have just been prosecuted by the police.

Seven other people were also prosecuted for similar acts, including: Ngo Nguyen Thanh Tuan (48 years old), Nguyen Minh Vuong (32 years old), Le Van Duong (31 years old), Nguyen Phuoc Thuan (35 years old, all living in Ho Chi Minh City), Nguyen Ba An (29 years old, living in Ba Ria - Vung Tau), Nguyen Thanh Hieu (31 years old, living in Binh Thuan) and Le Quoc Tuan (29 years old).
According to the police agency, through the work of preventing the Covid-19 epidemic and strictly managing people coming to Can Tho to stay, Can Tho City Police discovered a group traveling in 3 cars illegally arresting people in An Thoi residential area, Bui Huu Nghia ward, Binh Thuy district.
Accordingly, this group consisted of about 10 people. At 7:00 a.m. on March 26, this group drove to a house in the An Thoi residential area.
Then, they covered their faces, climbed over the fence into the house, used rocks to break the lock, opened the door, got inside, and controlled and arrested 4 people, put them in a car and escaped towards Ho Chi Minh City.
Among those arrested, there were 2 French nationals. Upon receiving the report, Can Tho City Police Department pursued the kidnappers.

About 30 minutes later, police arrested Tuan Hero and Thanh Tuan as they were escaping to Long Ho district, Vinh Long province.
Tuan was identified as the ringleader in the kidnapping of the four people mentioned above. The police force continued to arrest the remaining subjects and safely rescued the four victims who were being held captive in the car.
At the investigation agency, Tuan Hero's group stated that the 4 kidnapped people had borrowed about 7 billion VND. After that, the group of 4 did not pay the debt and fled to Can Tho.
