4 new cases, Vietnam records 245 Covid-19 cases

Vietnam recorded 245 cases of Covid-19, of which 153 were from abroad; 92 were secondary infections.

The Ministry of Health announced that as of 6 p.m. on April 6, there were four new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases in Vietnam to 245.

CASE 242 (BN242): Male patient, 47 years old, Vietnamese nationality, residing in Me Linh commune, Me Linh district, Hanoi. On March 12, the patient took his wife to the Department of Immunology - Allergy, Bach Mai Hospital for a medical examination and returned home the same day, eating at a restaurant on Giai Phong street opposite the hospital gate. Since then, he has not returned to the hospital. On March 30, the patient reported to the medical station and was quarantined at home in Ha Loi, Me Linh, Hanoi, showing no symptoms. The patient had close contact with family members, relatives and business associates. On April 4, his sample was taken, and on April 6, the Hanoi Center for Disease Control tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. The patient is currently quarantined and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.

CASE 243 (BN243):The patient is a 34-year-old female Vietnamese national residing in Cam Quan Commune, Cam Xuyen District, Ha Tinh Province, living and working in Russia. On March 25, the patient returned to Vietnam from Russia on flight SU290, seat 23A, entering Noi Bai Airport. After entering the country, the patient was quarantined at FPT University dormitory, Thach That, Hanoi. The test result of the Hanoi Center for Disease Control on April 5 was positive for SARS-COV-2. She is currently being quarantined and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.

CASE 244 (BN244):Female patient, 44 years old, Vietnamese nationality, address in Duc Trach, Bo Trach, Quang Binh, fast food restaurant service staff in Germany. The patient traveled from Germany to Russia on flight SU2313, seat number 20F, connecting from Russia to Vietnam on flight SU290, seat 40C, entering at Noi Bai Airport on March 25. After entering the country, the patient was quarantined at FPT University dormitory, Thach That, Hanoi. The test result of the Hanoi Center for Disease Control on April 6 was positive for SARS-COV-2. The patient is currently being quarantined and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.

CASE 245 (BN245):The patient is a 21-year-old female Vietnamese citizen residing in Quynh Son, Quynh Luu, Nghe An, a nail salon worker in Spain. The patient traveled from Spain to Russia on flight SU250, seat 26B, transited from Russia to Vietnam on flight SU290, seat 30H, and entered the country at Noi Bai Airport on March 25. After entering the country, the patient was taken to a centralized quarantine facility at FPT University dormitory, Thach That, Hanoi. The test result from the Hanoi Center for Disease Control on April 6 was positive for SARS-COV-2. The patient is currently being quarantined and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2./.
