Today is the third consecutive morning, the Ministry of Health's 6am news on the COVID-19 epidemic situation brought good news when no new cases of COVID-19 were recorded. Currently, Vietnam still has 245 cases, as of 6pm on April 6.

Total number of cases: 245 cases (153 people from abroad, accounting for 62.4%; 92 people with secondary infections, of which 62 people are from domestic outbreaks)

Number of new cases on April 7: 0 cases (as of 6:00 a.m.)

Number of people in quarantine: As of 6:00 a.m. on April 7, there were 85,295 people, of which: 1,248 were quarantined at hospitals (accounting for 1%); 37,544 were quarantined at other facilities (accounting for 44%); 46,503 were quarantined at home or place of residence (accounting for 55%).

Treatment status:According to the report of the Treatment Subcommittee of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

03 severe cases:

- 2 cases on ventilators and dialysis are Patient 19 and Patient 161 at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2 (Patient 19 has progressed, ending ECMO at 12:20 on April 4, 2020);

- Patient 91 at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City was transferred from non-invasive ventilation to invasive ventilation and ECMO.

Number of cases with negative SARS-COV-2 test results once: 32

Number of cases with 2 negative test results for SARS-COV-2: 30 cases.

It is expected that on April 7, 18 patients will be recognized as recovered (as of the afternoon of April 6, Vietnam has announced the recovery/discharge of 95 COVID-19 patients treated at medical facilities across the country).
