600 more test samples in Nghe An are negative for Covid-19

(Baonghean.vn) - All parameters on Covid-19 prevention and control in Nghe An are still showing positive signs up to now.

On the morning of April 12, the Nghe An Department of Health said that so far, the province has had 5,164 cases tested for Covid-19. Most of these people are citizens returning from Laos and Thailand who are quarantined at facilities and people who went to the Bach Mai Hospital for examination and treatment.

Thus, in just one day, April 11, Nghe An has taken samples for testing for more than 800 people. In addition, the locality also received test results from 635 people, all of whom were negative for Covid-19. To date, there are 2,310 cases in Nghe An that have had samples taken for testing but have not yet received results.

As of this morning, in Nghe An, there are 3,439 cases being isolated and monitored for epidemic prevention, a decrease of 634 people compared to the previous day. Of these, only 38 cases must be isolated at home, most of whom are people returning from the Bach Mai Hospital outbreak (29 people).

Another 26 cases are being quarantined at the district level, including 7 people returning from Bach Mai Hospital. In addition, 3,291 people are being quarantined at the provincial level, a decrease of 600 cases whose quarantine period has expired. These are citizens returning from Laos and Thailand.
Currently, Nghe An has 84 people in quarantine and treatment at the hospital, including 34 people returning from Bach Mai Hospital. Thus, of the total 962 Nghe An citizens who went to Bach Mai Hospital for examination and treatment during the epidemic, most of them have completed their quarantine period and have had their samples taken for testing with negative results. Currently, only 70 people are still in quarantine and being monitored.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Nghe An has received nearly 7,000 citizens returning from Laos and Thailand for centralized quarantine. To date, more than half of them have been given certificates of completion of quarantine and returned to their localities for continued monitoring at home./.
