Two more people in the 'epidemic hotbed' of Ha Loi have COVID-19, Vietnam has 262 cases
According to the 6:00 a.m. news on April 13 of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, there were 2 new cases of COVID-19.
Both of these people are in the "epidemic hotbed" of Ha Loi. So far, Vietnam has 262 cases.
1. Total number of cases: 262 cases, including:
- 159 people from abroad account for 60.7%;
- 103 people with secondary infections accounted for 39.3%.
2. Number of new cases as of 6:00 a.m. on April 13: 02 cases (261-262)
CASE 261 (BN261):Female patient, 60 years old, Vietnamese nationality, residing in Hoi hamlet, Ha Loi, Me Linh, Hanoi.
The patient sells groceries at Ha market in Hoi hamlet. The patient's sample was taken on April 11 and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on April 12.
The patient is currently isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.

The patient is a worker at Samsung company, Bac Ninh.
On March 27, the patient had close contact with patient 254 (the patient's uncle).
On March 31, the patient developed a dry cough and fever. The patient was sampled on April 11 and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus on April 12.
The patient is currently being isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.
