(Baonghean.vn) - While choosing clothes to take to the laundry, Ms. Pham Thi Dong discovered 9 million VND in the patient's pocket.

On the morning of April 16, Ms. Pham Thi Dong, a laundry worker at a hospital in Nghe An, was sorting patient clothes to be washed when she discovered 9 million VND in a patient's pocket.

Immediately after that, Ms. Dong counted and brought the money to the hospital's Board of Directors to announce on the loudspeaker to find the person to return it.

After the announcement, the owner of the money was found to be Ms. Tran Thi Khoa, in Binh Quang village, Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district, an inpatient at the hospital.

After checking and confirming the information, Ms. Dong returned 9 million VND to Ms. Pham Thi Thuy, the daughter of patient Tran Thi Khoa.

Sharing after receiving the money back, Ms. Thuy, the patient's daughter, was grateful for Ms. Dong's admirable work. Because this was all the money she and her mother brought to pay for medicine and hospital fees.

It is known that Ms. Pham Thi Dong has been a contract employee for nearly 1 year, with a salary of more than 3 million VND/month, working in the laundry department of the Infection Control Department. Her husband is working abroad in Taiwan. Ms. Dong has a young daughter. She and her daughter are living with her grandparents in Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town. Her grandparents are old and weak, the grandfather has been sick and bedridden for many years, the grandmother has blurred vision. Both grandparents do not have a pension. Her family's situation is very difficult.
