Masan implements many programs to support Covid-19 prevention and control in Nghe An and nationwide

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to join hands to repel the Covid-19 pandemic, during the past time, Masan Group's member companies in Nghe An as well as in provinces and cities across the country have supported in kind essential products to thousands of soldiers, medical staff and poor people in need of help.

Accordingly, Masan Farm Nghe An Company donated many essential products worth 200 million VND to the Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Hop district and poor households in Ha Son commune, Quy Hop district. Previously, Masan North One Member Co., Ltd. in Nghe An also donated in kind worth 100 million VND to the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

In addition to Nghe An province, Masan Group has implemented many activities demonstrating corporate social responsibility such as donating 700 water purifiers to help people in the Mekong Delta fight drought and salinity, supporting many essential products to border areas, quarantine areas, and frontlines of Covid-19 prevention and control nationwide. The total value of the programs up to this point is more than 5 billion VND.

Along with the programs to support the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic, Masan Group also coordinated with the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control to donate 700 standard water filtration devices, worth 1.4 billion VND, to help people in 8 provinces of the Mekong Delta use clean water, ensure hygiene, and prevent epidemics. In the current situation of a serious shortage of clean water for daily life in the Mekong Delta, this is a very practical action, helping people reduce difficulties during the drought season.
