Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, a crew member on the ship, said: Immediately after the ship ran aground, we brought about 20 people and 2 boats to rescue the ship. However, on April 19, we were unable to rescue it and had to assign people to stay on duty overnight.

On the morning of April 20, the tide receded and the fishing boat remained motionless in the middle of the beach. It is known that part of the seafood on board was rotten, causing considerable damage.

Contacting the Dien Ngoc commune government, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Ngoc commune said: the commune will contact the fishing association to mobilize large ships to rescue the ship, expected to be carried out tonight, when the tide rises.

It is known that the channel into Lach Van port for fishing boats is currently seriously silted, fishermen's boats are constantly having accidents at the estuary. 2 months ago, a 400 CV ship of Dien Bich commune also ran aground here, forcing the Dien Chau district government to mobilize a lot of forces to be able to salvage the ship.
