Nghe An: Detained driver who erased the scene after reversing car and running over a child, causing death
(Baonghean.vn) - Hoang Mai Town Police are currently detaining the suspect who caused the accident by reversing a car that killed a child earlier in Quynh Phuong Ward.
Previously, at noon on April 22, when returning home from work and not finding their 1-year-old son anywhere, a family in Quynh Phuong ward (Hoang Mai town) was shocked to find the child's body near a garbage pit 50 meters from their house. Seeing signs that their child had died in an accident, the family reported it to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, Hoang Mai Town Police began investigating. Extracting the camera of the neighbor's house next door, it was discovered that at about 8:00 a.m. on April 22, a male driver driving a truck with license plate 37C - 187.xx carrying construction materials, while reversing the car, ran over a young boy, causing the victim to die on the spot.
Notably, upon discovering the incident, the male driver got out of the car and carried the victim’s body to another location. Afterwards, the driver returned to cover the blood stains with dirt and quickly got back in the car and left the scene.

During the investigation, Hoang Mai City Police initially determined that the driver of the truck that caused the accident resided in Quynh Phuong Ward, Hoang Mai City. The suspect is currently being detained for further investigation./.
