Unexpected information about the girl in the rape case who was slashed on the street
The police took the girl's statement and clarified the surprising details of the slashing incident on the street.
Regarding the case of the girl in the rape case in Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City Police have just issued a notice on the preliminary investigation results.
According to this announcement, at 6:50 p.m. on April 23, Ms. Nguyen Thi T (from Dong Thap) went to the Vinh Loc B Commune Police Station, Binh Chanh District to report that at 11 a.m. the same day, her daughter, NTB (born in 2005), was slashed twice on her left arm by two young men on a motorbike with a sharp object.
Immediately after receiving the report, Binh Chanh District Police began investigating and examining the scene.

On the afternoon of April 24, Binh Chanh District Police worked with child B. The child admitted that the wound on his left hand was caused by using a sharp object to cut his hand, not by someone else as initially reported.
Currently, Binh Chanh District Police are clarifying and handling the case according to regulations.
It is known that child B is the victim in the case of “sexual intercourse with a person aged from 13 to under 16 years old” that Binh Chanh District Police are investigating. Up to now, the Police have initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained Nguyen Ngoc Quang (born in 1996, from Hau Giang) for the above-mentioned act.
According to B's accusation, in mid-November 2019, after a drinking session, Quang took B to a hotel to commit rape.
The case caused controversy when, in the initial stages of the investigation, the police's forensic examination of child B showed that "the subject B. was between 17 and nearly 17 years and 6 months old. On November 19, 2019, the subject B. was over 17 years old." In addition, the results also showed that Quang's DNA was present in the anal swab of child B.
Meanwhile, baby B's birth certificate shows that she was born in 2005.
However, the second assessment result in mid-March was different, stating that at the time of assessment on December 24, 2019, baby B was between 14 years and 10 months and under 15 years and 5 months.
