Thuy Tien: 'Many people texted me asking for 7 billion VND'
Cong Vinh's wife shared that every day she receives thousands of messages asking for money from many people. She always tries to help those in difficult situations within her ability.
On April 26, on her personal page, Thuy Tien posted a long post about her and her husband's charity work over the years.
For the singer, charity depends on each person's point of view and wishes. She herself always tries to help people in difficult circumstances within her family's ability and economic conditions.
"Tien's personal charitable wish is to only help those cases that can change for the better. Saving people must have a good final result for her help to be truly meaningful. Because the money she earned with sweat and tears must be used in a way that gets results and matches her wishes," she expressed.

Cong Vinh’s wife said that over the years, she has received many messages from poor people hoping to receive help from the singer and his wife. There was one case where a mother texted to ask for support for a year of tuition for her child.

Because she only helped for one year, the next year if they didn't have money they would drop out, her contribution would be meaningless.
"Every day, I receive thousands of messages asking for help, some asking for one billion dong, some asking for 6-7 billion VND. Many people who asked for help but were not successful still treated me poorly, talking arrogantly. There were cases where they asked for help on behalf of others without even knowing if it was real or a scam. I am just a small person, sometimes I feel sad", Thuy Tien confided.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Cong Vinh’s wife has devoted all her efforts to helping those in difficult circumstances in many localities. She even withdrew all of the family’s savings to support the poor.

"After transferring the last coins to help them, she wrote that Tien's family's personal account still had more than 300,000 VND. The couple looked at each other and smiled because they were really poor, not knowing how they would go to the market tomorrow. But I don't regret it because I believe that if I do the right thing, I won't regret even the last coin," she said, withdrawing all of her family's savings to help.
According to the female singer, she can even give away all the cash she has, regardless of effort or health, if she believes that is in line with her wishes.
"Tien and Vinh both think that when we die, we cannot take money with us. Therefore, when we can help someone, we will try to do so within our ability, but it must be in accordance with our wishes and charitable aspirations," Thuy Tien said.
For many years, the couple Cong Vinh - Thuy Tien have always been at the forefront of charity work. In the past two months, the female singer has raised more than14 billion VNDhelping people in the West overcome drought and salinity. In addition, she also gave free rice to the poor to help them overcome the difficult period due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.
