Party Congress of the Department of Culture and Sports for the 2020-2025 term
(Baonghean.vn) - On May 14, the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An held the 3rd Party Congress, term 2020-2025.
Attending the Congress were comrades: Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Chu Ba Long - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee and 122 official delegates of the Party Committee.
In the 2015-2020 term, with the spirit of "solidarity, democracy, innovation", closely following the policies and resolutions of the Party at all levels, the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports has focused on leading the implementation of a number of targets for the development of culture, family and sports.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports set the following goals: Continue to improve capacity, innovate leadership methods and fighting strength of the Party Committee; Improve quality, effectiveness and efficiency in administrative reform, implement democratic regulations, inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement; Promote traditional values, build Nghe An culture and people to develop comprehensively, towards truth - goodness - beauty, contributing to the sustainable development of the homeland and the country.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Chu Ba Long - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies acknowledged and evaluated the achievements of the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports in the past term. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports to continue to pay attention to personnel work, develop human resources of sufficient capacity to meet the requirements of the task; Regularly review and check the progress of implementation of issued programs and resolutions to bring about effectiveness and efficiency in leading the implementation of political tasks, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province in the new period.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 14 comrades, elected 9 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the Congress of Party Delegates of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, term 2020-2025.
