Mobilizing 1.5 billion VND to support families and relatives of martyrs in 2020
(Baonghean.vn) - That is the figure that the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs gave at the expanded meeting of the Association's Standing Committee to discuss the plan to implement the task of propagating and mobilizing funding for the fund to support families of martyrs in 2020, held on the afternoon of May 15.

In 2020, the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs plans to mobilize nearly 1.5 billion VND to support the construction of 20-25 new gratitude houses, donate 20-30 savings books, give wheelchairs and gifts to families of martyrs in difficult circumstances... Therefore, from the beginning of 2020, the Association has proactively implemented programs in a positive and creative manner but always keeping the principles and purposes of contributing to the good implementation of the work of repaying gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution.
The Association has also received thousands of pieces of information; provided information on martyrs; provided instructions on printing and copying death certificates; procedures for visiting and moving martyrs' remains, DNA testing, and requests for recognition as martyrs... for relatives and families of martyrs.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs awarded 6 groups and 9 individuals; the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 groups and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in gratitude activities, work of repaying gratitude, contributing to the social security work of the province.
Also at this meeting, 5 businesses donated 400 million VND to the Association to support families of martyrs./.
