One more Covid-19 case is a Nghe An resident returning from Dubai
The National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control announced that it has recorded one new case of Covid-19, a passenger on flight VN 0088 from Dubai returning to Vietnam on May 3 and was quarantined in Bac Lieu upon entry. Thus, up to now, Vietnam has had 313 cases.
According to an announcement from the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City on May 15, one more case of SARS-CoV-2 infection was detected among passengers returning to Vietnam on flight VN0088 from Dubai, landing at Can Tho International Airport on May 3, who were quarantined immediately after entering the country, with no risk of spreading to the community.
Specific information is as follows:
CASE 313 (BN313):Male patient, 28 years old, Vietnamese nationality, address in Yen Thanh, Nghe An. Patient returned to Vietnam from Dubai-UAE on May 3, 2020 on flight VN0088, seat number 51K.

During the sample collection on May 13 by the Bac Lieu Provincial Center for Disease Control, the patient tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. The patient is currently being quarantined and monitored at the Bac Lieu Provincial General Hospital.
