Congress of Dien Kim Commune Party Committee (Dien Chau) for the term 2020 - 2025

During 2 days (May 17-18), the Party Committee of Dien Kim commune (Dien Chau) held the 22nd Congress of Delegates for the 2020-2025 term. Attending the congress were comrade Hoang Van Bon - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Dien Chau District Party Committee and 233 delegates representing 448 party members of 14 affiliated Party cells.

During the 2015 - 2020 term, the economy in the commune grew quite comprehensively, reaching 13.4% / year (the congress target is 9 - 10%). The structure shifted in the right direction, increasing the proportion of industry, construction and services, reducing the proportion of agriculture. Currently, services and trade account for 57.9%, industry - construction 25.8% and agriculture 16.3%. Average income per capita at the end of the first quarter of 2020 is estimated at 3.3 million VND/month (estimated for the whole year is nearly 40 million VND/person/year), the congress target is 35 - 40 million VND/person/year, equal to 1.75% compared to 2015; the number of poor households decreased to 0.92%.

Along with economic development, Dien Kim commune always focuses on maintaining national defense - security and developing the cultural and social fields... Currently, all 3 levels of schools meet national standards. In addition, the commune also effectively implements the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life associated with building new rural areas" with extensive development; focuses on socialized cultural and sports institutions; the rate of households meeting cultural standards is over 85%. Along with economic and social development, the Party building work has been focused on by the Dien Kim Commune Party Committee in all three aspects: politics, ideology and organization. Thanks to that, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization have been constantly improved. In 5 years, 65 new Party members have been admitted, bringing the total number of Party members in the entire Party Committee to 448 comrades. The Party organization has achieved clean and strong status.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, Dien Kim Commune Party Committee continues to improve the leadership capacity, fighting strength of the Party organization and the quality of cadres and Party members.

Maintain the annual economic growth rate in the 2020 - 2025 period at 13 - 13.5%; strive for agricultural value to reach 75 - 77 billion VND, construction industry to reach 210 - 215 billion VND; services, trade and other revenues to reach 350 - 370 billion VND.

By 2025, average income per capita will reach 58 - 60 million VND/year; the rate of households achieving cultural titles will be over 90%; the poverty rate will be reduced to 0.5% by 2025;

The Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations are annually classified as completing their tasks well or better.

Strive to build Dien Kim into an advanced new rural commune by 2025.

In the spirit of democratic centralism, the Congress elected the 22nd Party Executive Committee of the commune, consisting of 15 comrades. At the same time, it elected a delegation to attend the Dien Chau District Party Congress, term 2020-2025.
