Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Minh Vuong (35 years old, garden owner)durian in Binh Phuoc) said that it was normal. "Durian that is not dipped in chemicals cannot be sent to the provinces. If you want to eat fallen or tree-ripened durian, you have to eat it at the base of the tree, otherwise it will be crushed during transportation...", said Mr. Vuong.

According to Mr. Vuong, durians dipped in chemicals will ripen after 2 days. From the time of dipping in chemicals until the goods are sold out, it takes 5 days. Durians dipped in chemicals still taste sweet like their natural state.
