Many V.League teams ask for permission to welcome spectators to watch the 2020 National Cup
(Baonghean.vn) - Good news for Vietnamese football fans as the matches in the 2020 National Cup Qualifying Round and V.League 2020 are about to take place, many teams have requested permission and are currently waiting for instructions from local authorities.
In the first two rounds of V.League 2020, the tournament's management board decided to hold matches without spectators to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. And now that the Government has agreed to allow the organization of some sports activities, VPF has also finalized the plan to organize the matches.
The 2020 National Cup preliminary round will start on May 24, while the round of 16 matches will start on May 30. The 2020 V.League is also scheduled to take place in early June. If everything goes well, the matches will be allowed to welcome spectators to the stadium.

In the meeting on May 13, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation gave his opinion on the decision to organize matches on the field with spectators. And the teams also need to submit their opinions to the competent authorities about being allowed to welcome spectators.
Regarding Vinh Stadium, the venue for the match between Song Lam Nghe An and Binh Dinh on May 24, Mr. Ho Van Chiem - Executive Director of SLNA Club said that the club has requested permission and is waiting for a response from the Provincial People's Committee. If everything goes smoothly, Vinh Stadium's Organizing Committee will only distribute tickets in limited quantities.
Similar to SLNA Club, Nam Dinh Club before the match against HAGL in the National Cup at Thien Truong Stadium also received the consent of the tournament organizers to open the stadium, but coach Nguyen Van Sy's team still has to wait for the decision of Nam Dinh province. The same is the case with Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club.

The grass is ready, Song Lam Nghe An will play at Vinh stadium
