Identifying the development of commercial services as a key task to promote socio-economic development, Doi Cung ward (Vinh city) has created all conditions for people to borrow capital for production, invest in business to expand service industries, and ensure security and order for organizations and individuals to conduct economic activities. The estimated revenue of individual business households is over 152.6 billion VND. Currently, the whole ward has 185 enterprises, an increase of 63 enterprises compared to the beginning of the term, with 417 individual business households focusing on the following fields: Transportation services, auto repair; flower and ornamental plant trading; interior decoration, mechanical processing, processing of traditional dishes. Some agencies and enterprises that operate quite effectively have attracted local workers, creating jobs for local workers such as: Hoa Thuong Company, Thai An Hospital, Coal Company; Central Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, Construction Joint Stock Company 471...
Notably, the good way that Doi Cung ward has been implementing is to arouse and promote the responsibility of cadres, party members and people in the area to build an increasingly civilized and clean image of the ward. The ward has coordinated with the city's departments and branches to deploy construction works in the ward from WB capital and urban beautification, creating a landscape environment to attract investment; quickly and promptly resolve administrative procedures, focus on directing the adjustment of zoning plans, and strengthen land management according to the plan.

At the same time, the ward has promoted site clearance, creating favorable conditions for investment in construction of projects in the area. Especially key projects such as the Ancient Citadel, the Northeast Ecological Lake, the drainage ditch along the railway, the adjacent housing project and the SKY Saigon high-rise apartment building at the Central Investment and Development Joint Stock Company...
At the same time, coordinate well with the city's departments and branches in managing and constructing infrastructure such as: Upgrading and paving Phan Chu Trinh Street, renovating and upgrading Tran Hung Dao Street and Nguyen Thai Hoc Street; coordinating the work of protecting the infrastructure of the Nguyen Sinh Sac overpass, installing lighting on the roads in the area; investing in new water supply systems in residential areas, managing green trees in the area and in the Northeast Ecological Lake, Ancient Citadel Moat, etc.
Over the past 5 years, the average economic growth rate increased by 10.73% (the average growth rate is 10% -11%). Total social development investment capital in the ward increased by an average of 11.2% annually at the beginning of the term (2015) reaching 232 billion VND, and at the end of the term (estimated by the end of 2020) reaching 412 billion VND. Total state budget revenue in the 4 years from 2015 to 2019 is estimated at 36.3 billion VND; the average income growth rate of 6.8% exceeded the target set by the congress resolution.

Mobilizing resources among the people
Another highlight that must be mentioned in the process of building a civilized urban area in Doi Cung ward is that the ward has had positive solutions in mobilizing resources from the people and taking advantage of the city's support to carry out a number of important projects such as: building a new Doi Cung market, Tran Hung Dao temple, building 8 new classrooms for the secondary school; 4 functional rooms for the primary school; 6 classrooms for Doi Cung Kindergarten, the road along block 12, alley 79 Nguyen Tiem street and a number of other welfare projects...
During the past term, 83 projects were implemented, with a total investment of 128.9 billion VND, with the people contributing 18.7 billion VND. Of which, the people contributed 7.5 billion VND to the Tran Hung Dao temple project; the people contributed 2.7 billion VND to the Doi Cung market project...
In addition, the ward focuses on leadership to create positive changes in the cultural and social fields. Up to now, all 3 schools have maintained the title of Advanced School, in which the kindergarten and primary school have maintained the title of National Standard School Level 1. State management of the fields of culture, arts, physical education and sports has received more attention.

The movement “All people unite to build a cultural life” is increasingly progressing in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 06 NQ/Th.U on building and developing urban culture. Health care, population, and family planning work are also given attention and development, with budget investment to purchase additional equipment and working facilities for health stations to serve the primary health care work for the people.
Poverty reduction work was implemented effectively. By the end of the term, the number of poor households was 0.09%; the number of near-poor households was 0.13%, a decrease of 8 households, achieving the target set by the congress. The ward actively coordinated with relevant departments, branches and charitable groups and individuals to build and repair houses of gratitude and love for the beneficiaries in the area. Every year, "gratitude" activities were carried out carefully.
At the same time, the Ward Party Committee focuses on Party building, political and ideological education; organizing cadres, building Party members; internal solidarity; implementing Party inspection and supervision work, mass mobilization work; leading the building of the government, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to operate effectively.

With the spirit of "Solidarity, democracy, innovation, development" determined to build Doi Cung ward rich, strong and civilized, in the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee and people of Doi Cung ward will continue to build the ward to develop faster and more firmly. The entire Party Committee will promote the tradition of solidarity, overcome difficulties, improve leadership and direction capacity, build a clean and strong political system; uphold the sense of responsibility of cadres, party members and people in participating in Party building and government building. At the same time, maximize all resources to build Doi Cung ward to develop sustainably, strive to successfully complete the goals, targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress of the ward.
