Urban highlights
During the past term, under the leadership of the Party Committee, ward government, and block committees closely followed the goals to carry out tasks in all areas.
As a result, the economy continued to develop quite well and move in the right direction. Many commercial centers, retail supermarkets, restaurants, and trading services were established and operated effectively, with diverse industries. By the end of the term, the total production value reached 2,035 billion VND, an increase of 153% compared to the beginning of the term.

The average annual economic growth rate reached 8.5%. The economic structure shifted towards the direction of trade, services and tourism accounting for 68.05%.
In the field of land management, urban order has had many clear changes and is increasingly becoming orderly, achieving many good results, and attention is paid to investment in basic construction and infrastructure development.
In the past 5 years, with investment sources from the city and ward, 32 construction projects have been completed.
In particular, the ward coordinated with the city to develop a walking street - a project that creates a unique highlight, bearing the unique characteristics of Vinh city.

Emphasizing the Political Report of Truong Thi ward, the goal of building a strong ward that meets urban civilization standards.
To achieve that goal, the Vinh City Party Secretary suggested that the Party Committee focus on leadership, promote the advantages of the central ward, with many cultural and social welfare works of the province and city in the area to accelerate economic development. There are solutions to encourage and attract investment to develop and improve the quality of services and trade.

At the first meeting, the Party Committee of Truong Thi Ward for the 2020-2025 term elected comrade Nguyen Huy Hoang - Secretary of the Party Committee of Truong Thi Ward to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ward.
