On the afternoon of May 27, comrade Le Van Giap - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Que Phong District People's Committee and the working delegation came to congratulate and award officers and soldiers of Hanh Dich Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard in the fight against drug crimes.

As reported by baonghean.vn, at 1:00 p.m. on May 26, 2020, in Lam Truong village, Tien Phong commune, Que Phong district, the anti-drug and crime prevention force, Hanh Dich Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard discovered and arrested a 39-year-old woman for possessing drugs.

The subject is Vi Thi Ha (born in 1979), permanent resident of Muong Mun village, Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district, who is illegally storing narcotics. Evidence collected at the scene included 15 packages (3 pink packages, 12 blue packages) of synthetic drugs (pink tablets), with a total of 3,000 pills.

According to initial statements, the subject was storing the above drugs to sell for profit when he was discovered and arrested.

Hanh Dich Border Guard Station has completed the file, expanded the investigation of the case, and handled it according to the provisions of law.

Recognizing the achievements of the officers and soldiers of Hanh Dich Border Post, the leaders of Que Phong district congratulated the unit's achievements and presented certificates of merit to the collective and two individuals, the two soldiers Tran Gia Tam and Tran Binh Quyet, who directly solved the case.

The Chairman of the District People's Committee hopes that the soldiers will continue to fight against drug crimes because Que Phong is a mountainous border district, the people's lives are still poor and they are easily lured into drug trafficking for profit. In addition to the fight against drugs, the border guards will continue to do a good job of raising awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, helping the people in the border areas develop the economy, reduce poverty, and maintain peace along the border and landmarks of the Fatherland.
