Solemn Ceremony to honor 67 typical advanced youths following Uncle Ho's teachings nationwide

Attending the commendation ceremony, on the Party and State leaders' side, there were comrades: Truong Thi Mai - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission; Le Quoc Phong - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union; comrades of the Central Youth Union Secretariat; representatives of central ministries, departments and branches.

On the local side, there were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Dinh Son - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Tinh province; Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

Youth is a reliable companion force of the Party.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Truong Thi Mai expressed her joy at attending the ceremony to honor typical advanced youth in the period of 2018 - 2020. The Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization affirmed that the Congress of Advanced Youth is a practical activity of Vietnamese youth, expressing deep gratitude to Uncle Ho, and is a creative way of the Central Youth Union in implementing Directive 05-CT/TW. Through 6 congresses, tens of thousands of young people have been honored, commended, spreading good values, motivating millions of young people with specific and practical actions.

They are exemplary Youth Union and Association cadres who always uphold the spirit of responsibility, mobilize and gather many young people to participate in activities for the benefit of the community; rural youth with the desire to innovate and access science and technology, not only changing their own lives and their families' lives but also contributing to building new rural areas; young people with initiatives to change the appearance of clean and beautiful urban landscapes; creative students, young workers, young entrepreneurs who strive in studying, working and producing; artists and soldiers who always volunteer on the front lines on the front lines...

"I believe that all of you here are the most beautiful images in the emulation movement of Vietnamese youth, contributing to enhancing the noble values ​​of the nation as Uncle Ho taught: "Each good person, each good deed is a beautiful flower, our whole nation is a beautiful flower forest". I acknowledge and appreciate the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for always accompanying and encouraging the good values ​​of Vietnamese youth, nurturing the ambition and aspiration to rise up and improve themselves and contribute to the country... We are facing opportunities for innovation to continue to develop rapidly and sustainably, integrate more deeply, approach the 4th industrial revolution, participate in the global value chain and aim to become an industrialized country with an upper middle income by 2030; by 2045, become a socialist-oriented developed country. Youth will continue to be an important force in that process to truly be the backbone of the country, contributing to improving National capacity, competitiveness in an increasingly complex development environment, requiring a pioneering role, high efforts, and the highest level of contribution of strength and intelligence to the country.

That is not only the ideal and ambition of the young generation for the country, but also the trust and love of the Party, the State, and previous generations for today's young generation to firmly continue the revolutionary cause of the Party and Uncle Ho, contributing to bringing Vietnam "on par with the world powers" as Uncle Ho always wished; so that each historical period of the country bears the mark of the responsibility of the young generation" - Comrade Truong Thi Mai affirmed.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai also hopes that Party committees and organizations at all levels always pay attention to the youth, and that the Youth Union and the Youth Federation at all levels always be trustworthy companions of the youth on the path of constant striving, to become good citizens, progressive youth, young communists studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings. During his lifetime, Uncle Ho always believed in and expected the young generation, hoping that in life as well as in work, young people will always contribute and spread to others about their youthfulness and dedication.

Welcoming 401 young people to attend the Congress in the homeland of beloved Uncle Ho, comrade Le Quoc Phong - First Secretary of the Central Youth Union emphasized Uncle Ho's concern for the youth force. At the same time, he affirmed that over the years, generations of young union members have continuously strived to study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings.

Accordingly, many meaningful activities have been well implemented by generations of young people such as: the campaign to build new generation advanced youth models; the campaign to raise awareness of youth union members. Thanks to that, more than 80 thousand Uncle Ho bookcases have been built; more than 310 thousand youth projects have been completed... In the past 6 years, 155,007 typical advanced youth have been commended. Mr. Le Quoc Phong affirmed that the Youth Union at all levels will continue to closely follow and effectively implement Directive 05 to strive to rise up, helping union members and young people become worthy successors of their fathers' revolutionary cause, both red and professional.

Before the ceremony to honor 67 typical advanced youths following Uncle Ho's teachings, delegates had the opportunity to interact with representatives of typical youths in various fields.

That is the story of the efforts to rise up in life and study of young businessman Nguyen Huu Huy Hao, despite being 98% disabled, who still founded a company and created jobs for dozens of workers.
