Congress of Quynh Luong Commune Party Committee (Quynh Luu), term 2020 - 2025

Attending the congress were comrades: Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, To Van Thu - Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, members of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, representatives of departments, branches, and unions of the district, and 134 outstanding party members representing more than 200 party members in the entire Party Committee.

During the past term, with the spirit of solidarity, democracy and innovation, the Party Committee, government and people of Quynh Luong commune, Quynh Luu district have strived to overcome difficulties to achieve and exceed most of the targets set out in the Resolution of the 3rd Party Congress of the commune, term 2015 - 2020.

Total production value in 2020 is estimated at 449 billion VND, equal to 110% of the Congress target, up 71% compared to 2015; Average growth rate in the period 2015 - 2020 is 9.28% / Congress target is 7.8 - 8.5%; Average income per capita in 2020 is estimated at 54 million VND, meeting the Congress target, up 94% compared to 2015. The economic structure has shifted in a positive direction, in which services account for 42.74%, agriculture - forestry - fishery 40.8%, industry - construction 16.45%; Average production value and aquaculture reaches 285 million VND/ha/year.

The commune has successfully carried out the movement of the entire people uniting to build a cultural life. The rate of cultural families annually reaches over 92%, equal to 102% of the congress target, an increase of 6% compared to 2015; 8/8 villages maintain the title of cultural village, the commune has standard cultural and information institutions.

Quynh Luong is the first commune in Quynh Luu district to reach the NTM target at the end of 2014. During the past term, the commune focused on improving the criteria, striving to achieve the Model New Rural Area in 2023. Regarding party building work, every year, 83.5% of party members completed their tasks well, 20% of party cells completed their tasks excellently, and 60% of party cells were classified as completing their tasks well.

The Quynh Luong Commune Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term set out targets, including striving to bring the total production value in 2025 to 690-720 billion VND; the average economic growth rate to 9.5-10.5%, and the average income per capita to 87-92 million VND. By 2025, the commune will no longer have poor households according to regulations.

The Congress also proposed three key programs including: Promoting internal resources, attracting investment to create resources to build a commune that meets advanced NTM standards by 2023; Promoting the application of scientific and technological advances in production, building brands and trademarks of Quynh Luong vegetable products; Promoting the development of services - trade, gradually developing marine ecological services, visiting the same color associated with spiritual tourism...

Speaking at the congress, comrade Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee praised and acknowledged the results that the Party Committee and people of Quynh Luong commune achieved in the past term. To achieve the goal of becoming a commune in the top 5 most developed communes in the district, the Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee suggested that in the next term, the cadres and people of Quynh Luong commune need to unite and make efforts to successfully carry out the tasks and plans set out. Actively attract investors to develop the service and trade sectors. Replicating the model of clean vegetable production, VietGAP shrimp farming, applying science and technology in production to improve efficiency and increase income for people. In particular, the locality needs to pay attention to developing sea tourism, sightseeing in the same color associated with developing spiritual tourism, this is considered a breakthrough in the next term...
