(Baonghean.vn) - Due to the distinct microclimate, soil, and topography, the rice harvest in western Nghe An is usually later than in the lowlands. Therefore, at this time, many villages in the high mountains have not yet finished their harvest. The hilly terrain makes it impossible to use harvesting machines, so farmers have to harvest by hand and transport the rice in baskets. In areas separated by rivers and streams, the rice is brought back by boat. All of this creates a beautiful scene of labor during the golden harvest season in the western region.
