Closing the Congress of Delegates of the Border Guard Party Committee of Nghe An province for the 2020-2025 term

The Congress of the Nghe An Border Guard Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term elected 15 comrades to the new Executive Committee.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 1, the 11th Provincial Border Guard Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, officially opened and elected the new Party Executive Committee.
Attending and directing the Congress was the delegation of the Central Organizing Committee led by comrade Vo Thanh Nam - Deputy Chief of Office of the Central Organizing Committee;Major General Phung Quoc Tuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee - Deputy Political Commissar of the Vietnam Border Guard;Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

Continuing the working program, on the afternoon of June 1, the Party Executive Committee of the Border Guard for the 2020-2025 term held its first meeting. The meeting elected 5 comrades to the Party Committee Standing Committee; elected the Party Committee Secretary, Deputy Party Committee Secretary; elected the Party Committee Inspection Committee consisting of 4 comrades and elected the Chairman of the Party Committee Inspection Committee. Colonel Le Nhu Cuong was re-elected as Secretary of the Nghe An Border Guard Party Committee.

Next, the Congress elected delegates to attend the 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025. Accordingly, in addition to delegate Tran Hai Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Border Guard, who is an ex-officio delegate, the Congress elected 10 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the Provincial Party Congress.
The Congress enthusiastically discussed and contributed many enthusiastic opinions to the draft documents of the 13th National Party Congress; the draft Political Report of the 14th Border Guard Party Committee to be submitted to the 15th Border Guard Party Congress; and the draft Political Report of the 19th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress.

With a spirit of democracy, objectivity, honesty and responsibility, the Congress discussed and highly agreed with the political report submitted by the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial Border Guard, term X, to the 11th Congress, discussed and contributed opinions to the Action Program to implement the Resolution and issued a Resolution to lead the tasks for the 2020-2025 term.
The Resolution clearly states: Approving the basic contents of the assessment of the situation and results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 10th Provincial Border Guard Party Congress, term 2015-2020; directions, goals, tasks and leadership solutions for the term 2020-2025 in the Political Report submitted to the Congress and the discussion opinions at the Congress that the Presidium concluded.

The Congress assigned the Party Executive Committee of the 11th term, 2020-2025 term, based on the Resolution and absorbing opinions at the Congress, on the basis of thoroughly grasping the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 15th Border Guard Party Congress; and the Resolution of the 19th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress to supplement and complete the action program for prompt implementation throughout the Party Committee.

“The leadership task of the Party Committee in the coming term is extremely heavy, requiring each cadre and party member to have a strong change in both awareness and action capacity. With the spirit of "Solidarity - Discipline - Determination to Win", the Congress calls on all cadres, party members, soldiers, workers and employees in the Provincial Border Guard to unite, promote the achieved results, overcome existing weaknesses, actively cultivate and train, promote determination, overcome all difficulties and challenges to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Congress" - the Resolution clearly stated.

“The success of the Congress demonstrates the high sense of responsibility, solidarity, democracy, unity and trust of the entire Party Committee as well as all cadres, soldiers and employees in the Provincial Border Guard; demonstrates the determination to build a clean and strong Party Committee, a strong and comprehensive unit, meeting the requirements of the task of building, managing and firmly protecting the national border security and sovereignty in the new situation” - Colonel Le Nhu Cuong said.
