U19 SLNA took the top spot from U19 Thanh Hoa

(Baonghean.vn) - After a somewhat slow first leg, the U19 SLNA team is showing a completely different appearance in the second leg of the 2020 National U19 Qualifying Round with two consecutive victories against U19 Thua Thien - Hue and most recently U19 Thanh Hoa.

After 5 matches, U19 SLNA is in second place with 10 points, U19 Thanh Hoa is in first place with 13 points, both teams have the same coefficient of +7. The match between U19 SLNA and U19 Thanh Hoa taking place on the afternoon of June 5 is considered the "final" match of group B to determine the top position.

After a tight first half with no goals, U19 SLNA started to rise from the second half and scored the opening goal in the 54th minute. From a pass from Pham Duc Manh, striker Ngo Van Luong finished accurately, defeating Thanh Hoa goalkeeper, putting U19 SLNA ahead 1-0.

There are 2 matches left in the 2020 National U19 Qualifiers in Group B, U19 SLNA will meet U19 Quang Nam on June 8 and SHB Da Nang on June 11. With favorable results against these 2 opponents, U19 SLNA will qualify for the Final Round.
