Department of Home Affairs strives to have a high ranking in the Administrative Reform Index
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the state administrative reform program in the coming period, the Department of Home Affairs strives to achieve a high ranking in the annual Administrative Reform Index ranking at the department, branch, and local levels in the province.
On the afternoon of June 5, the Department of Home Affairs held a conference to review 10 years of implementing the overall program of state administrative reform for the period 2011 - 2020 and to develop the program of state administrative reform for the period 2020 - 2030.

Identifying administrative reform (AR) as one of the key, continuous tasks, having decisive and breakthrough significance in leadership, direction and implementation of assigned political tasks, with the role of the standing agency on AD of the Provincial People's Committee, the Party Committee and leaders of the Department of Home Affairs have paid special attention to leading and directing the drastic implementation of AR within the agency and its affiliated units.
Therefore, in the period of 2011 - 2020, the administrative reform work of the Department of Home Affairs had many positive changes, the results achieved were quite clear, highly appreciated by the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee and recognized by all sectors and levels.

Accordingly, the administrative reform work in the period of 2011 - 2020 has received special attention from the Party Committee and the leaders of the Department in leading, directing and implementing. The development of programs and plans, organization of implementation and propaganda of administrative reform are increasingly becoming systematic and systematic; the implementation results are getting higher and higher.
The administrative institutions have been gradually improved. Many regulations and policies related to the Home Affairs sector have been issued, amended and supplemented by the Department of Staff in a timely manner, in accordance with reality, creating favorable conditions for completing the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the province.
Administrative procedures in the field of Home Affairs continue to be reviewed, revised, supplemented and perfected. The one-stop mechanism at the agency is gradually being adjusted and improved in quality, becoming practical, reducing the transaction time of organizations and people with the Department of Home Affairs, without having to go through intermediary levels.
The department's organizational structure has been reviewed and its functions and tasks have been supplemented to comply with the regulations of the Government and the Ministry of Home Affairs; and the assignment and division of tasks have been clearly defined. The system of regulations has become increasingly complete, better serving the direction, administration and implementation of public duties.
The implementation of autonomous mechanisms has helped proactively use allocated budget funds, contributing to savings in the use of budget funds, gradually increasing income for cadres, civil servants and public employees.

With innovation in recruitment, timely resolution of policies for civil servants, improvement of the quality of input recruitment, good implementation of training and fostering, strict enforcement of discipline and administrative discipline... has gradually improved the quality of the Department's civil servants and public employees.
The Department of Home Affairs promotes the application of information technology in management and operation, contributing to improving working methods and enhancing the quality of the agency's operations.
At the conference, the Department of Home Affairs discussed and evaluated the achieved results, pointed out the limitations and proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness of administrative reform in the coming time, in which the Department strives to achieve a high ranking in the administrative reform index at the department, branch and local levels in the province every year.

On this occasion, the Department of Home Affairs awarded two collectives and two individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the overall program of state administrative reform in the 2010-2020 period.
