Congress of Dien Lien Commune Party Committee (Dien Chau) for the term 2020 - 2025
(Baonghean.vn) - In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of Dien Lien commune is determined to continue promoting the strength of the entire people, improving the material and spiritual life of the people; comprehensively and synchronously promoting local development.
On June 8, the Party Committee of Dien Lien commune (Dien Chau) held the 36th Congress of Delegates, term 2020 - 2025.
Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Chu Van Thiep - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of Dien Chau District Party Committee; leaders of specialized departments and offices of the district and 194 delegates representing 368 party members of the entire Party Committee.

During the 2015 - 2020 term, the economic picture of Dien Lien commune (Dien Chau) has improved a lot, continuing to maintain a high and relatively comprehensive growth rate, reaching an average of 11.5%/year. The economy has shifted in line with the characteristics of the locality, in which the proportion of agriculture is 27.5%; services and trade are 59.5%; small-scale industry is 13.3%.
When implementing the resolution on socio-economic development, the Party Executive Committee of the commune has focused on leading, directing and organizing the implementation of many synchronous solutions, bringing scientific and technical advances into production; building rice seed fields and gradually increasing the area of high-quality rice varieties and fragrant rice varieties, accounting for 95% of the area. Livestock farming has also been focused on by the locality, creating large, high-quality commodity products.

Small-scale handicraft industries maintained a stable growth rate, creating stable income, with each worker reaching an average of about 35 - 40 million VND/year. With synchronous development in all fields, Dien Lien's total social income in 2020 reached 273 billion VND, 2 times higher than at the beginning of the term. Average income per capita in 2020 reached 34.2 million VND/person/year (an increase of 11 million VND/person/year compared to 2015).
The cultural and social fields have achieved many important results; cultural and information activities, physical education and sports continue to develop; the cultural and spiritual life of the people is constantly improved. Every year, over 89.6% of households are recognized as cultural families. Attention is paid to education and training; during the term, Lien Dong secondary school and Dien Lien primary school both maintained the title of national standard school.

Determining the construction of new rural areas (NTM) as a central and key task, the successful construction of NTM is the driving force for economic and social development. With the participation of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, in 2019 Dien Lien commune reached the new rural destination. The total investment for the program construction is more than 56.8 billion VND, an increase of 32.5 billion VND compared to the 2010 - 2015 term.
The Party Committee has always paid attention to and developed the work of building the Party and the political system. During its term, the Commune Party Committee was classified as having fulfilled its tasks well for 4 years and excellently fulfilled its tasks for 1 year.

Comrade Vo Van Du was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Dien Lien commune; Comrade Vo Van Chinh - Permanent Deputy Secretary and Comrade NguyenCentralHoang - Deputy Secretary of Dien Lien Commune Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
