Caught fishing boat using electric shock, used gas tank to fight back against authorities
(Baonghean.vn) - A fishing boat without a license plate, longer than the prescribed length, using electric shock to exploit aquatic products, and while being chased, fought back against the authorities and was discovered and arrested by Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard.
At 8:30 a.m. on June 9, while patrolling and controlling the coastal area of Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town, the Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station discovered a fishing boat without a license plate, owned by Mr. Tran Van Dung, born in 1965, with a registered residence in Hai Ha commune, Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa, using electric shock to catch aquatic products.

When discovering the patrol team, the boat owner cut down the net and ran away. When catching up, the boat owner did not comply with the inspection of the authorities, deliberately rammed the patrol team's canoe, and used a gas cylinder to fight against the authorities.
Then the crew on board jumped into the sea and swam to shore, leaving the vehicle behind.
