(Baonghean.vn) - The examination and assessment of civil servants of the Department of Finance aims to correctly assess the actual level, professional capacity, expertise, and skills of civil servants compared to the requirements of the job position they are holding in order to have a plan to train and improve the professional qualifications and expertise of the staff and civil servants.
On the morning of June 19, the Department of Finance organized a civil servant examination. Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Xuan Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Finance; representative of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee.

Participating in the exam were 73 officials and civil servants of the Department of Finance, including: Head of Department, Deputy Head of Department and equivalent of the Department; Director of Financial Support and Consulting Center; Senior Specialist and equivalent, Specialist and equivalent of the Department.
Cadres and civil servants take 3 exam parts: Part 1 tests general knowledge in the form of multiple-choice tests on paper; Part 2 solves a situation or incident related to professional and technical activities; Part 3 writes an outline to defend a project, program or plan, suitable for the job position divided by the field the civil servant is performing.

Test content: Document drafting skills, information technology practice skills and communication skills, civil servant ethics; Skills in handling practical situations arising related to professional and technical activities; Ability to propose and advise on solving professional work according to procedures and regulations; Skills in developing outlines and writing projects.
Regarding general knowledge, the test will examine the political system, organization and apparatus of the Party, State, socio-political organizations, the ability to understand resolutions, policies, guidelines, policies, and laws of the Party and State on the industry, field, and basic knowledge of the assigned professional and technical fields.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Department of Finance Nguyen Xuan Hai said: The examination and assessment of civil servants is to properly assess the actual level, professional capacity, expertise, and skills of civil servants compared to the requirements of the job position they are holding in order to have a plan to train and improve the professional qualifications and expertise of the team of cadres and civil servants.
“At the same time, the results of the examination and assessment are one of the bases for reviewing, evaluating and classifying cadres and civil servants; arranging and rearranging the team to suit professional qualifications and working capacity, streamlining the payroll, restructuring the team of cadres and civil servants according to the requirements of innovation, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the unit” - Comrade Nguyen Xuan Hai emphasized.
