(Baonghean.vn) - Meeting with voters of Long Son ward (Thai Hoa town - Nghe An), comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee affirmed that the handling of officials and party members who have committed violations has been done a lot, but in the coming time, it will continue to be done strictly, with no forbidden areas.

On behalf of the provincial National Assembly delegation, delegate Hoang Thi Thu Trang briefed voters on the results of the 9th session of the 14th National Assembly. In the last session, the National Assembly passed 10 draft laws, 21 resolutions, and many important mechanisms and policies.

In particular, the National Assembly approved the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period. A total of 10 projects were implemented, with an estimated budget of more than VND270,000 billion for the two phases.

Voter Tran Ngoc Trang (Long Son ward) said that the budget loss is huge, while this is tax money contributed by businesses and people. In many cases, officials have caused billions of dong in losses but only received a warning, which is too light.

He suggested that the State should take strict measures to handle officials who cause losses and corruption, thereby building an increasingly strong and clean Party, so that people continue to trust the leadership of the Party and State.

Voter Do Van Tinh (Long Son ward) reported that traffic accidents in the area are common. One of the causes is the unfinished road repairs. He requested local authorities to speed up the road repairs to ensure people's safety. At the same time, he requested stricter management of Internet shops, as they are the source of illegal acts.

At the meeting, voters also reflected that the payment of allowances to grassroots officials after the merger of hamlets is still low and slow, while the work is more. They requested the government to calculate a single electricity price to ensure the rights of the people; and to quickly resolve the policy for citizens on the front lines in the area, because they have waited too long.

Many voters also said that there was a situation of mineral exploitation and encroachment on people's agricultural land; the power source in Block 4, Long Son Ward needs to be improved; the pollution caused by the dairy farm has not been resolved;...

Comrade Pham Chi Kien - Chairman of Thai Hoa Town People's Committee said that the work of supporting people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic was organized fully and publicly. Currently, the town has completed the list and submitted it to the competent authority to allocate funds to the people.

For projects implemented in the area, we hope that people will agree and support the compensation plan for site clearance so that the projects can be implemented quickly, especially the power line and drainage canal projects....

Responding to voters' opinions, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission said that recently, more than 2,300 cadres and party members, including nearly 100 cadres under the Central Committee's management, have been disciplined by the Party due to violations. Among them, 23 members of the Party Central Committee and former members of the Party Central Committee, 3 members of the Politburo and former members of the Politburo have been disciplined. In terms of criminal matters, many cadres have also been disciplined, including cadres who are members of the Politburo.

"We have never dealt with so many officials so seriously. And this work is continuing, being done seriously, with no forbidden areas," Comrade Phan Dinh Trac affirmed and asked people to continue to monitor, reflect, and contribute their heartfelt opinions on the shortcomings and limitations of agencies, as well as the mistakes of officials to overcome and handle effectively.

The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee also affirmed that construction work must ensure safety, and any unit that makes a mistake must be strictly punished. For conditional business activities such as Internet cafes and pawnshops, people need to educate their children, because this mistake comes from both sides, not just blaming the game shop. Regarding the issue of allowances for commune and hamlet officials after the merger, the National Assembly will take note and accept it to report to the Government.

Regarding the issue of electricity prices calculated by steps, the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee said that this electricity price calculation is aimed at saving electricity; supporting and creating conditions for families who are still in difficulty. However, what needs to be done is a simple step-by-step calculation method so that people can easily understand. Regarding social security support, the government needs to follow the regulations, support the right people, the right subjects in a timely manner.

Regarding the opinion that there are officials exploiting minerals and encroaching on people's agricultural land, comrade Phan Dinh Trac requested the Office of the National Assembly Delegation to monitor; the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Hoa Town to inspect, if it is true as the people's reflection, it must be strictly handled. At the same time, he requested the People's Committee of Thai Hoa Town to resolve the people's concerns and legitimate needs regarding electricity, roads, etc.
