Implementing the program of monitoring seawater quality during the tourist season under the Environmental Monitoring Program of Nghe An province in 2020, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment announced the results of monitoring seawater quality at 04 beaches of Quynh Phuong, Dien Thanh, Cua Lo and Cua Hoi in the latest period of June 2020.
The results of monitoring parameters including: temperature, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Turbidity, Salinity, Suspended Solids (TSS), Ammonium (NH), Phosphate (PO4), Cyanide (CN), Arsenic (As), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Coliforms are all within the permissible limits of the National Technical Regulation on coastal seawater QCVN 10-MT:2015/BTNMT for bathing and water sports areas.
For Dien Thanh beach, there are 2 parameters exceeding the standard including: total suspended solids content 3.84 times and iron (Fe) 2.38 times; at Quynh Phuong beach, there are 2 parameters exceeding including total suspended solids content 1.34 times and iron (Fe) 1.56 times.
