A male student from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted was selected to participate in the Asian Informatics Olympiad.

(Baonghean.vn) - That is student Hoang Phan Huu Duc - class 12A2, a male student who has won many achievements in excellent student competitions.

The competition to select the national team for the 2020 Asian Informatics Olympiad was held online. Vietnam had 36 students with high achievements in the National Excellent Student Competition for the 2019-2020 school year, entering the second round of this competition.

Hoang Phan Huu Duc from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted was a special case to enter the second round. At the end of the second round, Hoang Phan Huu Duc, along with 14 other excellent students, became an official member of the Vietnamese team participating in the Asian Informatics Olympiad. According to the plan, the exam will be held on August 15 in an online format hosted by Indonesia.

Previously, Hoang Phan Huu Duc was a student with many achievements such as being the valedictorian of the IT specialized class at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. At the National Excellent Student Exam in grade 11, Duc and his twin brother both excelled in winning the second prize in IT and then won the Silver Medal at the 2019 Asian Informatics Olympiad.

Along with Duc, 25 other candidates from Nghe An have just completed the second round to select the national team in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. The exam results will be announced by the Ministry of Education and Training in the coming days.
