Logistics Department of Military Region 4 awarded 240 million VND to build gratitude houses
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 5, the Logistics Department of Military Region 4 coordinated with the Economic Department of the Ministry of National Defense to visit a number of families with revolutionary contributions and families with especially difficult circumstances in Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province. Here, the delegation presented 240 million VND to support 3 families to build gratitude houses.

On this occasion, leaders of the Logistics Department of Military Region 4 and the Economic Department of the Ministry of National Defense visited single people including: Mr. Nguyen Van Dong (born in 1950) in Xuan Tho hamlet, Nhan Thanh commune, a 1/4 disabled veteran; Mrs. Le Thi The (born in 1959) in hamlet 2 and Mrs. Dau Thi Khoa (born in 1954), wife of a martyr, in hamlet 1, Dai Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.
Here, the delegation presented each family with 80 million VND to build houses of gratitude. The total amount of money donated this time was 240 million VND. This is an activity to express gratitude and encourage families with meritorious services to the revolution and those in especially difficult circumstances to improve their lives. This is also one of the practical activities of the unit towards the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
