On the morning of July 9, at Vinh University, the Ministry of Education and Training held a training conference for key staff on inspection and examination of the 2020 High School Graduation Exam.

Speaking at the conference, the Deputy Minister of Education and Training said that the 2020 school year is a special school year due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. In that context, the final exam for grade 12 students has many new features, shifting from the National High School Exam to the High School Graduation Exam and assigning full responsibility to localities to implement.

However, to ensure the exam takes place seriously and objectively, the Ministry of Education and Training will strengthen its responsibility in inspection and examination work with the participation of the Ministry's inspection force, universities, the State Inspectorate and inspection forces of provinces, cities and towns.

According to the plan, the Ministry will send inspectors to the places where exam papers are printed and copied, and to inspect the invigilation and grading work in the localities. Participation in supervision is to carry out the role and management of the Ministry of Education and Training in urging, inspecting, checking and implementing the coordination mechanism together.

Expressing his views on inspection work, Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong also affirmed: Good, correct, accurate, and timely inspection will minimize errors in the exam organization process.

Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong also requested that officials participating in the conference need to overcome difficulties, concentrate, exchange frankly, and grasp the work of examinations, inspections, and examinations in order to retrain for the work of examination inspections and examinations.

During the discussion and exchange process, if any unreasonable content is discovered, delegates need to give their opinions to the Organizing Committee so that the Ministry of Education and Training can promptly make written adjustments.

In addition, it is also hoped that the inspectors need to share experiences and situations arising outside the regulations to discuss, handle and propose timely solutions. From there, the organization of inspection and examination activities for the 2020 high school graduation exam will be practical, effective and in accordance with the law.

According to the plan, the training conference will take place over 2 days with the following contents: Dissemination of regulations on high school graduation exams and instructions on organizing exams, organizing inspections, and checking graduation exams; instructions on professional inspection and checking of exams; training on some cheating technology devices in exam supervision and common situations in inspection and checking activities.
