Dai-ichi Vietnam Insurance pays 750 million VND in insurance benefits to risky customers

At the conference, representatives of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Vietnam, Dai-ichi Dien Chau Office announced the decision and organization to pay 750 million VND in death benefits to Mr. Nguyen Van Hau in Hong Yen hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, a customer who participated in Dai-ichi Life Insurance for more than 1 year, with a premium of 15 million VND but unfortunately died.

At the payment ceremony, along with the announcement of the decision to pay benefits to customers, on behalf of Dai-ichi Vietnam, Mr. Tran Trung Chinh - Sales Director of North Central Region 2 Dai-ichi Vietnam sent his deepest condolences to the family; at the same time, shared the purpose and meaning of participating in life insurance, not only helping us have a sustainable family financial foundation but also helping to prevent and ensure in situations where the family encounters difficulties and misfortunes.

At the workshop, representatives of Dai-ichi North Central region introduced Dai-ichi Life’s participation in the Vietnamese market and consultants introduced the benefits of the new product “Hospital Support Insurance” that has just been launched by Dai-ichi Vietnam. Accordingly, customers participating in this product are insured for financial support when hospitalized and treated for cancer or kidney dialysis.

Having enough financial resources to be assured of treatment and quickly return to a happy life is what everyone wants when undergoing treatment. "Hospital support insurance" is a supplementary financial support product designed to support costs during hospitalization and cancer treatment and daily dialysis.

Dai-ichi's "Hospital Support Insurance" product has the following outstanding features: 100% of the insurance amount per day of hospitalization (emergency - ICU - surgery); outpatient cancer treatment and kidney dialysis up to 100 times/year; receive 100% of benefits regardless of other health insurance.

Current medical costs at hospitals include: hospital bed fees from 150,000 to 300,000 VND/day, intensive care unit (ICU) fees from 600,000 to 800,000 VND/day; surgery from 3,500,000 to 10 million VND/time; cancer treatment costs from 200,000 to 400,000 VND/time, radiotherapy costs from 500,000 to 1.5 million VND/time; kidney dialysis treatment requires an average of 3 dialysis sessions per week, the cost of each dialysis session is from 500,000 to 600,000 VND/time.

In 2019, Dai-ichi paid more than 100,000 cases with a total amount of more than 1,300 billion VND.
