The Department of Education and Training has just issued a document to rectify activities at continuing education facilities. Accordingly, in order for activities at Continuing Education Centers, Continuing Vocational Education Centers, Life Skills Centers and Extracurricular Activities, and Foreign Language Centers (collectively referred to as centers) to take place safely and in accordance with regulations, the Department requires the centers not to organize or rent or lend locations to organize extra classes or cultural learning; not to integrate cultural teaching programs into life skills education activities and extracurricular activities in any form.

For foreign language centers, KNS centers and HDNGCK centers, strictly implement regulations on enrollment and organize training programs at locations in the Decision on permission for educational activities.

Strictly implement the use of labor, especially foreign labor, in accordance with the provisions of the law. Do not allow teachers to teach at the center without the approval and permission of the Department of Education and Training.

Previously, the Department of Education and Training issued a document prohibiting extra teaching and learning during summer vacation. In particular, organizations and individuals are strictly prohibited from organizing extra teaching and learning inside and outside of school in any form during summer vacation (except for organizing review sessions for 9th and 12th graders and training excellent students to participate in national and international competition teams).

The purpose is to create conditions for students to have time to rest, play, participate in activities to develop comprehensively and ensure health in hot weather and complicated epidemic developments.

To implement this regulation, localities have also issued documents strictly prohibiting extra teaching and learning. In Vinh city, the city People's Committee has issued a detailed document requesting wards and communes to coordinate with the city police to inspect and review centers that organize extra teaching in violation of regulations in order to promptly make recommendations and handle them.

Particularly for schools, the organization has teachers sign a commitment not to violate the regulations on extra teaching and learning. Manage teachers on extra teaching, promptly detect, handle and recommend handling according to authority of teachers who violate regulations. In addition, the City People's Committee has also announced hotline numbers 0913.054.254, 0913.355.776 for people to make recommendations and feedback.
