Falling into a ditch on Highway 48, brother-in-law and sister-in-law died
(Baonghean.vn) - A young man was driving a motorbike carrying his brother-in-law on Highway 48 when he suddenly lost control and both brothers died after being hospitalized.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Luong Van Huan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thong Thu commune (Que Phong district) said that a serious traffic accident had just occurred in the commune, killing two victims.
Previously, at around 3:00 p.m. on July 15, Mr. Q. (30 years old, residing in Tien Phong commune, Que Phong district) was driving a motorbike carrying a 5-year-old girl (identity unknown, Mr. Q.'s sister-in-law) on National Highway 48 extending towards Phu Phuong intersection - Thong Thu border gate.
When reaching Muong Phu village (Thong Thu commune), the car suddenly lost control and plunged into a roadside ditch, causing two people in the car to fall and become unconscious.
Upon discovering the incident, local residents immediately took the victims to the hospital for emergency treatment. However, due to severe injuries, the two victims died shortly thereafter.
Que Phong district police urgently arrived at the scene to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident./.
