It is known that since its establishment in 1974, the Center has cared for thousands of seriously wounded and sick soldiers. Currently, the Center is caring for, treating and rehabilitating 70 seriously wounded and sick soldiers in the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

The wounded soldiers treated at the Center all have a high rate of disability. Despite their poor health and many difficulties in daily life, with the attentive and dedicated care of the Center's staff, the wounded soldiers always strive to improve their lives. In particular, in recent years, the Center has always received deep attention from Party committees, authorities, and organizations from the Central to local levels, so the lives of wounded soldiers have been increasingly improved.
